Garage recommendation - Essex

Hi,
Does anyone know of a good garage in or around the Southend / Essex area that is knowledgable about the 24v engine.
I've had an ongoing problem with poor idle and hesitation when cold. Nothing is coming up on diagnostics and as a result our local Ford dealer seems a little lost....
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Well its not easy for the poor old Ford Dealer to get lost with all that Hi-tec equipment, the weeks of training their top mechanics get, and experence they have with their own cars. Is it? Personaly I would not trust them with my lawn mower.
I expect you will find the problem something very simple and logical like the temp sensor which could be checked in a few seconds with a test meter. But I bet Ford have spent hours scratching their heads and typing out your bill which has probably come to ten times the actual repair costs by now.
If You cant get eny recomendations try contacting your local back street car accessory dealer, they should be able to recommend someone.
