Hi
Would someone be able to tell me if my scorpio diesel ecu (V 94GB-12A650-AA)has PATS incorporated in it or needs a PATS module, or will work with out PATS.
The date on the ecu is 10/09/93.
The reason I ask is i'm thinking of installing a VM scorpio diesel engine I have in a project. The ecu was bought later.
I don't want to get involved with immobilisers to be honest

With that build date it should be pats free, Pats was introduced around 1995.
Did it come out of a bug eye scorpio? On s 93 it should be from a granada

One other thing,
Does you engine have a cable accelerator or the fly by wire one?
If its the latter that ecu wont work
