Just popping back in 'cos I need a part

Hi all, It's been a long time since I was last here, as I got rid of my last Scorpio in 2013. I'm sure some of you may remember that I replaced it with a Saab 9-5 (not really a worthy replacement). Well, after 7 years of suffering the Saab, I reckon I have now found & bought a worthy contender to the Scorpio, and for me it really does bring back that joy of driving a big rear wheel drive car with armchair seats, lots of toys & that real retro feel......A Chrysler 300C CRD. It reminds me so much of my old Scorpio, not just in the way it drives & handles, but also suffers from some of the same ailments...knocking drop links, ARB bushes & dodgy wheel sensors etc....I'm like pig in mud who's ready for another challenge Anyway, what I'm looking for is one of those Scorpio inner door bins that always seemed to drop of if you slammed the door too hard (I seem to remember). One of those would fit perfectly (glued) on the under steering wheel dash of my 300C, so I can put stuff in it....I can't think of anything else that would be a more perfect fit.

Good morning Jon! What a surprise to see you here. Must be something in the air as Baz dropped in a couple of days ago and even Snoopy woke up to greet him! Check out News. How are things with you and yours? That lad of yours must be well grown up by now? Are you still doing Taxi work? Looking at the time of your post I feel you may be! Best wishes, Mike

Good to see you pop in again JC. Do you still have the Jeep ? This is all very strange - I was having a look in the attic for something just yesterday...and came across a Scorpio door bin... Yours for the postage cost. Drop me a PM.

JC so nice to hear from you after all this time! Contrary to what Simmo states I am still sniffing around on here. Well I have to because they forget that I remember things from a long way back. You atr always welcome back here even if it is to beg borrow or whatever. Just pop in now and again and renew old friendships Regards Snoopy

I love the CRDs, is it the earlier or later type which didn't appear to sell as well but I thought still looks great?

No that wasn't me Maybe Danny R or Kevin. I went down the Volvo route still got it after 14 years. Still service it myself got the VIDA dongle and PC to sort out problems if there are any. but so far nothing major,( touching wood and all appendages crossed) one front wheel bearing, along with the obligatory cam belt and pulleys changes, which reminds me they are due again! but getting them replaced is cheaper than a new engine or car,and oil filters and tyres. So here's hoping.

Crown Victoria is one of my all-time favourites, I had the Mercury Grand Marquis version on holiday in America.
