I have 95 Scorpio 2.5td and although the engine cranks there are no battery, heater plug, airbag, etc lights coming on. The car will not start. Any ideas please?

Check fuses 16 and 17? They are for the 'electronics'! Daven

Think more details are required! Running OK before? Does the LED on the dashboard flash a code? Have you checked the codes on the instrument cluster? (battery voltage) Do the needles flicker on the speedo and rev counter? Have you got a battery cover? Try disconnecting battery for half hour and then trying (make sure you have radio code!) Good luck! Daven

Are all the connections ok on the battery, there could be a bad connection even though it cranks.
