hi, I need help unlocking my tailgate on my estate.
The lock opens when I use the key in the central locking but, as soon as I press the tailgate button to open it, it locks staight away...just the tailgate. I've tried every way I can think of to open it including the key in the tailgate lock. Anybody Know of a manual way to open it?

hi there
 
you can open it by pressing the boot release on the remote twice. are you sure it's unlocked? the way most of them work is by a electric motor after you press the button. unlocking the car only allows you to press the button to activate the motor. this only works when the ignition is off.
