DE-ICE SWITCH

Aircon stopped and fault traced back to the de-icing switch.
Can't tell if it's the switch or the thermistor.
Does anyone know what the specs of the thermistor are as I cant locate a replacement switch so far .
Does anyone know how to test for a problem with the thermistor rather than the probe ?
