Title: puddle lights Post by the_machine on Jun 6th, 2006, 2:12am hi lads (and any girls ;) ) has anyone ever converted a scorp to puddle lights by fitting the whole doorloom from an earlier car? just wondered if you can just plug the door loom in and it will pick up the feed from the socket? i know theres a puddle light feature somewhere on this site but does that not involve making your own loom rather than getting one of a breaking car. basically im thinking of buying a breaker, using the gearbox, puddle lamps and other bits to tidy my cossie up. anyone ever fitted headlamp washers? is it a biggie???? |

Title: Re: puddle lights Post by the_machine on Jun 7th, 2006, 8:46pm is there a power feed in the door loom? if i just install an entire loom from the door, will it hook up and start working i.e is the feed there in the socket? |

Title: Re: puddle lights Post by Kjetil S on Jun 7th, 2006, 9:14pm One easy way to check: Disconnect the multi plug to the door, find a multimeter and check for live feeds. Then make sure the door switch is pressed and check again. If you find one that dies when you push the switch, you've got one :) |
