i have a laptop but wish to buy an OBD lead and software. where do i get one to fit my scorpio??

i would rather start learning this stuff myself
sick of rip off mechanics

gonna try and track down the damage the garage has done to my car

it thumps into 3/4 gears
never used to before they messed with the battery

Ordered my triple leead thismorning ( may as well for the extra few quid, may use it on other cars. )

~£90 all in.
