Same car as per the alarm.

If I turn the key as per to unlock and hold it for a while, the roof and all windows open. Should it also close all the windows and what is the trick to doing this?

Turn the key to the right, and hold it there.

That was my first thought and I have just tried it again -it does nothing.

mine sometimes does this, sometimes not....

i use the turn left briefly, then hold right, for deadlocking (two flashes), usually works (mines a '95, maybe earlier ones were different?)

never seen mine do the windows/sunroof, but never tried to be honest, would be useful from the fob.....

Well, you'd think after 2 years of ownership nothing would surprise me about my own Scorp. :D

I knew that they could be closed with the key on locking but I had no idea that the Global system OPENED the windows and sunroof as well.

Another thing to show off to the unbelievers when they denigrate the Magnificent Scorpio.

Have you tried the key on the passenger side, You could have a problem with the switch on the drivers door :-/

My alarm comes on when I deadlock the car, it went off, but the lights don't flash.

Maybe Ford set them up differently at the toss of a coin.

it appears they did, mines a 95 TD, it doesnt flash either, i want it too, it would be really useful if it did, but it wont....
