Title: Hands-free Post by tintin on Apr 13th, 2007, 12:28pm Hi all, Just bought myself a bluetooth monitor thing that sticks to the windscreen, microphone to visor, charger to ciggie lighter. Anyone fitted one before? Any tips? I presume i can get the microphone to run up the A-pillar, wheres the best place to attach it at the top? Wheres best to run it to the middle of the windscreen? Also, do i have to have the wire from the lighter to the unit up the front, or can you tuck it away somewhere? Cheers |

Title: Re: Hands-free Post by scorpio_man on Apr 13th, 2007, 1:02pm hi sam i'd put them behind the drivers windscreen trim. take the bottom dash/cubby hole area off and feed the wires through the back to the lighter. hth |

Title: Re: Hands-free Post by tintin on Apr 13th, 2007, 2:20pm yep, that will give us something to do on sunday....its in and working, so thats a start. was wondering if you can buy an adaptor like this http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/4302.htm but that has a shorter head, so that you could keep the front shut, then have 3 sockets (one for the bluetooth, one for my mobile itself and one spare) tucked behind the dash, nice and neat. |
