Title: relays Post by kittman on Jun 16th, 2007, 5:40pm Whilst checking the relays in the battery side fuse box I noticed there was no bridge in relay R23. Is this a problem and if so which way round does it fit |

Title: Re: relays Post by sector-9 on Jun 18th, 2007, 12:00am The bridges only fit one way around. Mine had some bridges missing (despite being mentioned in the manual) and it ran fine - fitting them made no difference, but mines a poverty spec scorp anyway. I think the bridges are only used in certain countries or configurations (e.g. taxi). Darren |

Title: Re: relays Post by Tompion on Jun 18th, 2007, 6:37pm Just looked at a spare box I have (don't know what model it's from), that doesn't have a bridge for R23 but does for R22 which looks the same as R23 here: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fusebox2.htm Dave |

Title: Re: relays Post by sector-9 on Jun 18th, 2007, 6:37pm It's an L shaped brass link which fits in the two terminals at right angles to each other (and has a circular hole drilled on the corner between them). Or just make your own with two male spade connectors and a bit of wire... Darren |
