Whilst checking the relays in the battery side fuse box I noticed there was no bridge in relay R23. Is this a problem and if so which way round does it fit

The bridges only fit one way around.  Mine had some bridges missing (despite being mentioned in the manual) and it ran fine - fitting them made no difference, but mines a poverty spec scorp anyway.

I think the bridges are only used in certain countries or configurations (e.g. taxi).

Been to my local dealer today theres about 4 different types of bridge but they didn,t know which one ent where

Just looked at a spare box I have (don't know what model it's from), that doesn't have a bridge for R23 but does for R22 which looks the same as R23 here:

It's an L shaped brass link which fits in the two terminals at right angles to each other (and has a circular hole drilled on the corner between them).  Or just make your own with two male spade connectors and a bit of wire...

Found one in a spare fuse box I was given so Iv,e put it in the way it says on the link above. no difference it was just a thought that it might solve some of my probs. Oh well no harm done (I hpoe)
