Title: Baggage net/dog grate Post by Lord_Bubu on Jul 12th, 2007, 5:02pm Hi, was there only a dog grate (hope thats the right word) available for the Scorpio estate or was there also a baggage net available (cant believe there wasn't, even my old escort had one).? If so does anyone have a spare one or knows the Finis number? Ford wants 120 pounds for the dog crate >:( And is the dog crate good for holding back all the baggage in case of an accident? Best regards, Tim |

Title: Re: Baggage net/dog grate Post by scorpio_man on Jul 12th, 2007, 5:21pm hi there try fordpartsuk.com for a quote for it. well worth it as it's top quality. it bolts on using the rear seat belt mounting points. you'll find it very difficult to find one s/hand as they're that good, very few people let them go. regards |

Title: Re: Baggage net/dog grate Post by Lord_Bubu on Jul 12th, 2007, 6:45pm Thanks Scorpio_man, do you mean that the original ford crate is a good choice? Or do you think an aftermarket solution would be better? Does anyone have a picture of the original ford part, because as I already said, i don't own a dog but want wo make sure no baggage flies around and breaks my neck just in case of an accident? Best regards, Tim |

They fit between the roof & the floor & should stop the back of your head being bashed in when you shove the brakes on ;)..... ....although, the headrests should protect your head from forward flying missiles.....unless you have big ears ;D |
