i'm sure its been asked before but whats the best (easy) way to get my mp3 working in my 98 cossie ultima, . is there a unit avaliable that will just replace my 7000 rds.? thanks. ???

hi there

the easiest way is using a mp3 player and a fm transmitter.

i've just bought this (http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3383637/Jivo-Utune-FM-Transmitter-And-Car-Charger/Product.html). works good enough for me.

What's sound quality like on these?

I got one about 18 months ago that cradles the iPod and charges.. transmits through 88.1 - 88.7 i think, but it's like listening to an old tape with a lot of background hiss!

Would appreciate your views as might invest in one if any better.

An alterntive way is to install an aftermarket radio/CD unit, the CD player of which supports the ability to play MP3 files. Mine does and I can squeeze several hours onto a CD.
