as far as i know they are 10cm/4inches

but is there room enough for a 13cm unit, because i have a set on the shelf but im not supposed to rip of the entire panels to see they not fit.

the rear speaker are 4x8 units?, but i found out on this site that 6x9 units will fit with minor mods.

YOU CAN PUT 5 '' IN THE FRONT AND 6 X 9 IN THE REAR OF ESTATES. USE DYNAMAT FOR A REAL IMPROVEMENT.

6x9,s in the back of an estate is possible ,but i found it to be a tight squease.the speakers i used give up the ghost after a couple of months,so i replaced them with 8x4 JBL jobbies & found them to be just as good

thanx, i know what ik takes to get good soundquality, done my sierra and that was a pain to get a nice soundstage, but thats solved.

my plan is to put the stuff from my sierra in the scorpio as soon as its road ready.

when that happens i have the folowing setup:
hertz compo hsk 156 in the front doors
dls classic reference in the rear shelf
sony es amplifier for the compo and the rear.
emphaser t4s+ sub on a lanzar optidrive 200+ (oldskool killer amp ;D)
and a alpine 9853R headunit.

but im still thinking of a 2din indash dvd player only problem is that the scorpio has no room for this unit cause its 1,5din as far as i know, pretty sure cause the hole in the dash is 1 and a half radio big.

Sounds good.I would love to build a system for my estate,but unfortunatly it,s a working car so i need all the boot space i can get :'(.I made a mistake earlier.! I said i,d fitted 8x4 speakers when in actual fact i fitted 6x4 :-[.The wife reliably informs me im always confusing 8" with 6" ;)
