Title: Re: electrics Post by scorpio_man on Jan 25th, 2008, 7:41pm hi there shouldn't do any harm if you watch out for sparks. downside is the car needs to relearn it's settings everytime. your issue sounds like the fusebox(s) are wet. hth |

Title: Re: electrics Post by SCORPY_NEWBY on Feb 4th, 2008, 8:52pm My old scorp did this before i rebuilt the fuse box's. Funnily enough i found that after you take the key out and the ign lights are still on, Switch the dip beam on and the lights would go out. Very strange but it got me back from staffs ok. Bottom line is, your fuse box needs stripping and cleaning. |

Title: Re: electrics Post by deconick on Feb 7th, 2008, 8:45pm yeah i think ive done just about averything but found the prob at last,it was the wire loom that goes down behind the brake servo, insulation cracked and falling off broken wires too all repaired now, but tracktion control light still on and abs light glows very faintly plus abs dosnt do start up test, cleaned wheel sensers and put new brake pads in,cleaned plug fittings done resistance test with volt meter,so i need to leave the lovely beast alone and sleep on it cos it goes like the crazy horses and its great. |
