Since this is a problem when it comes to Scorpio fobs, I thought that somebody who has one giving him problems [i don't, i use an aftermarket system]

Do what i do . Open your doors by a mobile phone works for miles. When you go anywhere leave your wife in the car then when your ready to go back to the car phone her and she'll open it for you...... ;D
