is it possable  to drop the propshaft without removing the exhaust i think my centre bearing has to be replaced and do i need a puller for the bearing, 98.2.3. regards

I would not like to try it,even if you could it would take a lot of unnecessary time and patience.Just unbolt the cat flange and unhook the hangers then you have a clear path after the heatshield is off.The bearing can usually be removed without a puller
                  GOZZ.

thanks for that gozz, i think the exhaust is original and the cat flange nuts might be steel same as my sons ford couger and had to be cut off, do you know if they are brass on the scorp.regards ivan.

Hi Ivan, no they are not brass, steel I'm afraid, but a good soaking with wd40 and they can come out with no problems.   Lee
