What version of Internet Explorer are you using ?

Try doing a RIGHT mouse click on the link and selecting 'Open in new window'

That should leave the forum window OK for you to go back.

Go to "Start" ( the little flag in the lefthand bottom of the screen  "Control panel" - "Network and internet" - "Internet options"  - "General" Go to "TABS" then click on "SETTINGS" Go to "Open links from other programs in:" click on  "A new window" P.S. you can minimise this page while you do it so you can see both pages........... the when you click on a link it should open in a new window......... HTH........
