Title: Central fusebox. Post by Bikerdon on Sep 4th, 2011, 8:09pm Hi, I'm still working through the few remaining electrical issues on my 2.0 Ultima, mostly done now but does anyone have a photograph of the central fusebox showing all the relays and links in place, also been trying to fix the boot popper to work via the fob, I've replaced the faulty solenoid and checked the wiring at all the known weak spots but the solenoid still wont operate even from the boot button so I always need the key to open the boot, is there a dedicated relay or particular fuse related to this problem? Thanks, Bikerdon. |

Title: Re: Central fusebox. Post by Mike H on Sep 9th, 2011, 9:06pm Boot release is actually a motor I believe, that is timed to go through a cycle to operate the release, they have been known to just pack up. Both the remote and the boot lid button uses the motor (the button just sends a signal to the same control box gubbins that is worked by the remote I think - and so is also how boot is prevented from being opened by the button when engine is running [ign on]) |
