Hi all,

As in title, my air conditioning switches on (the a/c button illuminates) but doesn't blow cold air. The previous owner advised me that they had replaced the air con compressor twice and that it had 'blown' again.

How likely is this? Could there be any other explanations such as it just requires regassing (wishful thinking I know).

It took a few weeks of regular use before mine settled down on its own and started working properly.
Is the fan working on Auto or when turned up?
If it does want regassing hopefully it reads R134a on the panel under the bonnet, as does mine.

Hi mcadam
I just replaced the compressor, after it seized, as well as the receiver and reducer valve. Mine only worked for a few days before, no more cold air, and the compressor not sounding too good. The gas seems to be low again, a leak ?, having it checked next week will let you know what is found.
