Picture the scene...

I'm chucking my quid in at the toll booths at Dartford tunnel, waiting those couple of seconds for the barrier to raise.

The car to my left is a Vectra GSi thingybob. The car to my right is an Audi A4 1.8T. Both very nice, and both about to go too.

But we're all pulling off at the same time and all aiming for the same lane.

Who gets there in what order??

PS, I'm in Sport mode with O/D off (just in case ;))

i do that ever other week when i go to kent too see my kids, so if you want to race an old 12v i'll be there this coming sunday evening..

last year when me and the missus were going to Euro disney, we frequented the Dartford drag strip.....

it was pouring with rain and this Sierra estate decided to race me from the booth.......suffice to say I wiped my Scorpio arse with Sierra estate!

got to hand it to him for trying though.

Poor bloke probably didn't know what he was dealing with.

I'm sure my 2 opponents were surprised. After all, I was the last one off the mark (just).
Just shot through the middle of them both. ;D

Positions:
1st... ME ;D
2nd... Audi
3rd... Vectra

Hmm, you're right. I suppose I wouldn't have shouted about it if I'd lost.
But... I must say that the Audi came very close :o
It wasn't the thrashing that you might expect.

I think it was close because I was the last of the 3 of us off the mark.
Was a sight to be seen. I wonder if it was caught on CCTV? ;D
