last night at 10 pm it took 15 mintes to switch on and log on the site.saterday mornings it takes 15 seconds talk about turbo bost.is it the www.the site.or the 3 mobile that i use???

Most likely your ISP NOT the forum . You will find that the internet is very busy at certain times of the day and Night time can be one of those. especially with the younger people using the networking sites and forum which can have the effect of making the internet slow.

Some ISP do profiling which also cause this effect .

My download speed was at this moment in time was 5.93 Mb, with Tiscali ............

did a test download 22kbps upload 39kbps .is this good-bad-indiferent.took over 1 hour to get on site

Mine is slow sometimes as well and yesterday it was back up to full speed

Its the ISP people dont know why it happens but it does ???

LOL virgin advertise fibre optic ???

Are you still on dial-up ? ;D

Another good speed checker is HERE (http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk/)

Mine came out as.....download-2763kbps ....upload-454kbps & took about 20 seconds :)

Just tried mine on both using Firefox 3.5.3

Snoopy's site:- Download 8576 Kbps - Upload 478 Kbps

Jonnycab's site:- Download 8645 Kbps - Upload 478 Kbps

Though I'm sure this will dramatically decline for me when the kids get on line and hog all the bandwidth. }{ }{
