Title: Judgement Day
Post by Highlander on Apr 22nd, 2011, 2:14am
Just to make everyone feel really old... :)

Remember when the film "Terminator" was released in 1984?

The story was that America's new computerised Global Defence System (Skynet) became self aware, decided mankind needed to be eradicated and launched all the nuclear weapons turning the earth into wasteland.

Well in 1984, the date so far away in the future that these missiles were to be launched was the 21st April 2011, Yesterday! ;D

Looks like we made it ;)

Did you know the numbers on a roulette wheel add up to 666  ???
Apparently illegal in the state of New York, posession of a roulette wheel will get you in 'The big House'  :o

The original date in Terminator (1984), when Skynet became aware & tried to erradicate mankind was 2.14am 'Eastern Time' on the 29th August 1997  ;)....2 days before Princess Diana died in an ECU controlled Mercedes that apparently accelerated at high speed into a concrete pillar in a Paris underpass  :o

Do you think she & Dodi were the ones that foiled Skynets plans & were duly disposed of by one of Skynets loyal Mercedes servants ?.....Or could the driver have been a Terminator ?  http://undergroundfreakz.com/s/contrib/blackeye/AR15firing.gif

Or am I confusing fiction with reality ? http://smilearchive.com/s/cwm/3dlil/eek13.gif

21st April 2011 was in the TV series 'Sarah Conner Chronicles' (apparently) :P.....You'd think though, that they would have picked the 22nd April, so it was on the same day as Good Friday 2011...
....Or would the apparent date of the crucifixian of Christ & the death of mankind on the same day have been too coincidental ::)

As for the 21st May being Judgement Day....I suppose that means another load of misguided religious loonies are going to douse themselves in petrol, link hands & set themselves alight in preparation for divine acceptance into heaven ?... http://undergroundfreakz.com/s/cwm/cwm/silly.gif

....& hopefully one less knock at the front door on a Saturday afternoon  ;)
