Did anyone else see the 57 plate pre facelift scorpio on Hidden on BBC1 tonight.

Yes, Just had a look on iPlayer it's pre facelift and the reg is LN57 PXB
???

Just been to Guernsey where the plates are all only numbers, saw one that was just '10' - looks real weeird mahnnn!
And they're all black. The plates I mean

Apparantly they are really heavy on speeding fines, bans regularly handed down together with community service. From what I saw the roads are all too narrow and bendy to go fast anyway.

when i was in Guernsey and Jersey years ago most of the hire cars were Daihatsu Charades due to the size of the roads

My taxi was one of those big multi seat things - he drove all the way with the mirrors folded in, and used the pavement at regular intervals!

LJK Setright was always banging on about how unnecessarily big cars were. But each new model is bigger every time, it seems.
