Hi all!

Yesterday a sudden rush of wind captured the drivers door of my Scorpio and throw it open. :(
The door balancer/catch (I'm not sure about the right word. :-[) got broken. >:(

1.) Is it possible to replace the plastic door catch from the Scorpio II with the metal one from the Scorpio I?
2.) Do the mountings match?
3.) Do I have to remove the door trim or is it possible to replace the item from the side of the door?
