Title: Re: Nothing on the ignition Post by Richard on Oct 16th, 2004, 9:56am When it won't start do you get a clicking from the soleniod and do the needles go right around and back again ?, If they do then it sounds to me like you need a new battery, one of the cells could be gone and it would cause these problems. |

Title: Re: Nothing on the ignition Post by Richard on Oct 17th, 2004, 10:14am Yeah that sounds like it is definitely your problem, Go somewhere and have the battery checked, It is probably a dead cell that is causing you the problems. |

Title: Re: Nothing on the ignition Post by maddshooter on Oct 17th, 2004, 12:01pm my scorp had sat at home for the last 3 months while I was in hospital. Went to start it and guess what ? flicking needles ! Though it was just low voltage but no such luck . Ha d adud cell in the battery and a replacement was the only remedy. Lucas supplied a new heavy duty unit trade for less than £45. All o.k. now but the radio was a pig to code up ! Regards , Madd. |
