My scorpio 96 has been sitting doing nothing for the past few months i knew it wouldnt start, but when i tried to start it by jump starting it, it keeps making this clicking noise :(. could anyone give me any advice on whats most likely to be wrong?

The battery is flat and the clicking you hear is the soleniod, I expect you getting the needles flicking on the dash too, If you are jump starting the car from another connect the positive to both batterys then the earth from the good battery to a suitable earth on the engine of your Scorp, make sure these are good connections or you won't be able to start yours.
Wait a couple of minutes with the other car's engine running and then try to start your car, If you still get the clicking then you need to check all the connections again.
