Title: Re: Dizzy difficulty Post by Badboytunes on Mar 18th, 2005, 9:42pm Hi Paul, it is tight fit to get at the dizzy. However, if you can cut a 13mm spanner to half length (bout 3 inches) you should be able to get at it. A rachet spanner will do the trik. Its a slow start but once you get it undone a few turns the bolt shud come out easily....... Cheers Nick ;) |

Title: Re: Dizzy difficulty Post by Paul_Boulden on Mar 18th, 2005, 10:19pm Hi Nick, Thanks for the reply, did you use a ring spanner or an open ender ? I couldn`t get an open end to locate properly but wondered about grinding the side down a bit. I`ll have to improvise with what i have as the car isn`t going anywhere. Thanks, Paul Boulden |

Title: Re: Dizzy difficulty Post by bazw on Mar 22nd, 2005, 12:03pm if you have some thing to heat a spanner to red hot and a welder you can make a crows foot spaner that clears the top of the dizzy so you can get it to turn easy or you can buy one in a good motorfactors |
