Title: Auto levelling headlights Post by DJWerkz on Jul 9th, 2005, 11:11pm While putting my interior back together after replacing the heater matrix I noticed a spare blue block connector exiting the same location as the connector for the headlight rotary switch. On further investigation I find that this second connector is for the option of auto levelling headlights. On my car I only have the main rotary switch for the headlight function but in the manual there is a picture of a fascia with both the headlight rotary switch and a second rotary switch for adjusting the level of the headlights. If I wanted to change my car so I have this function do I only need the correct fascia section with second rotary switch or will I need to check into headlight moutings as well? If I have the cabling at the dash section is it reasonable to assume that I have all the necessary cabling to the headlights? Any help appreciated ;) |

Title: Re: Auto levelling headlights Post by Paul B on Jul 10th, 2005, 7:59am The cabling may well be there, but the headlamps are different. So you might have to buy the more expensive headlamp units, and they are dear too! :o Will try to find pictures of the different lights for you. |
