Title: air flow sensor
Post by VEEE6 on Jan 4th, 2006, 4:56pm
Hi there, I'm not great with cars but want to have a go at the following fault on my Scorpio. It's fitted with a Cosworth 24V engine. Problem is when cold it starts easily but rev's don't pick up until it's warmed up a bit after 3 or 4 minutes. Took it to local garge who put a diagnostic tool on it but could find no fault. A friend suggested it might be the air flow sensor. Can anyone give me any advise on this please?

I cleaned one in a Mondeo today and it cured the jerky acceleration :)
