I have a 1995 Ultima and am having trouble with the heating/air conditioning. The temp does not appear to be able to get above 22 0r 23, if I turn it up any higher the blower keeps going, and actually it begins to feel a bit cooler than the temp at which the blower subsides.

The pipes to and from the heater matrix are both hot and appear to be about the same temprature.

I do however have a problem with the air con. The model had an identified fault with an outside temp senser and air con temp control unit being faulty. The problem I have here is that the CC rest procedure does not work, although I can get the 00 up in the passenger display I can not dial in 50 and no fault codes are shown. So with this being faulty I don't know whether there is
a fault code 03 there which would indicate a faulty temp control unit.

I really do not know how to proceed, any help would be appreciated, especially if some one knows a good Air Con engineer in the North London/Herts area.

Does sound as though the HBC might be playing up. there is a check procedure on the main site .

Could also be worth doing a back flush on the heater and cooling system .

I think the write of the article with regards the reset could not get the 50 in the left hand temp display but the reset still worked.
