:-[ hiany help on this after fitting a new master brake cylinder, i drove for about 2 miles ,when i pressed the brakes the pedal went straight to the floor,at first i thought cylinder had gone again , but after pumping the brakes again the pedal went very hard and the next time i pushed it was nearly impossible to depress the pedal and there was a heavy vibration felt i pulled over and turned it off and restarted and the brakes felt ok but it was a very nervous half mile home , anyone had this happen, and any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

without stating obvious have you checked for air in system
if I have brake problems - always start with full brake bleed to eliminate air from problem
may seem daft but at least it removes a "variable" from problem solving & doesn't cost much to do & is beneficial anyway.

After fitting the new brake cylinder, needless to say, you fully bled the whole system ?
