Hi all
I have an 1998 24v Cosworth.
I am trying to replace the REAR BOOT LIGHT CLUSTER but mine said Scorpio on it and was edged in black.THe only ones I can find are chrome edge and dont say Scorpio.
I f I get a chrome one I will need to change the rear lights as thay are black edged as well.

Any body know why this is and can I get the cluster saying scorpio.

chrome is a pre face lift , there are lot of people on the site at the mo breaking scorpios you may hve luck with one of them ;)

Must just be the cossie's that have this, 'cos my '98 2.3 face lift Ultima doesn't have scorpio written on the rear boot cluster.

The word scorpio is actually a stick on badge and was fitted to all facelift saloons. Chances are that if yours doesn't have it on, the rear light bar may well have been damaged and replaced at some time in the past. Not sure if the stickers are still available but I will try and sort the part number out because the Ford parts system was never updated for the scorpio facelift rear lights, it doesn't show the badge.

I have one still in its packet as a spare somewhere as well as a light bar with a few scuffs that still has the badge and two that don't. Will check back later

Am I right in thinking that a pre face lift rear lights and the boot light cluster will fit a face lift car?
Can not find a black edged face lift rear cluster anywere.
