Hello,
Im asking about this as it could get worse. I prefure tinkering now before the bad weather comes.

When I switch off my car without lights. Through the day. I get the same boing!! As if I have my lights on and door open when I havent.
The boing (chime) only happens once and once only.
After a few weeks the car now Boings!! Once when I turn the car on too. }{
Isnt the scorp a funny thing ;D
Any thoughts welcome.

Door switch? same noise as when you leave it in gear and open the door?

I have always had to leave it in gear. With hand brake on as I have a steep drive.
Never ever has it done the boing before?
I have a manual maybe the boing. Only comes on when in gear when its auto?
I looked at the problem page and nothing is really mentioned.

This may be wide of the mark but do you run it low on petrol?, We've had a query before as I believe the sound is similar for the low fuel warning?.
