hi all
this past week i seem to be having a lot of trouble with my drivers door lock .... i have 3 keys for my scorp 2 copys and the red master, and only the red master will unlock my drivers door.
the copy keys will unlock and lock the pasanger door but they WILL NOT unlock the drivers door???? but the red one will ?
the copy keys will lock the drivers door and start the car.... they just will not unlock the drivers door. any help or advice will be eagerly awaited as its very embarasing running around to open the car from the other side lol

ps. i do not have a remote fob

Worn keys or lock, usually the red one is the least worn so works when the others dont

Can buy a door lock kit for about £25 and build it to match your key - see article on site at http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/doorlockbld.htm

May also be advisable to get one new key for daily use - about £20 - and you can programme the key from your red one - see handbook page 41 at http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/handbook.htm
