has anyone ever had this,when the engine is cold and selecting drive or reverse the engine cuts out and is then hard to start again ???, 2.3 p reg by the way :)

Have a read of THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/faultfinds.htm). Fuel pressure relay or regulator?
