Title: Re: invisible scorpio? Post by TiberiuS on Nov 17th, 2006, 5:14pm It's not invisible, they get drawn to the Scorpio's beauty ;) You do get some nowadays, like the people who wait until you're almost level before they pull out of a side street in front and the ones who do the same at roundabouts and poodle around the entire thing in the outside lane... Thinking about fitting a plasma cannon and a propeller to mine for the unavoidable tailbacks on the A12, I will try the stealth thing though, would be handy for that occasional 3 Series driver behind ::) Bruce. |

Title: Re: invisible scorpio? Post by jonnycab on Nov 18th, 2006, 3:05am As Bruce says.....maybe people aren't used to seeing things of such beauty or such ugliness (all in the eye of the beholder) ;) They just assume it's an hallucination/trick of the mind ;D |

Title: Re: invisible scorpio? Post by pappa on Nov 18th, 2006, 9:10am Yes. I can verify the fact that the headlights help. In Finland it is mandatory to use headlights, even though it won't get dark at all in the midsummer. But it's a proven fact that it really helps. Trust me, I live here 8) |

Title: Re: invisible scorpio? Post by Spannerdemon on Nov 19th, 2006, 9:41pm I'd just love......just ONCE........ to be able to jump out of my car, and say to the previously ignorant smirking ass-hole lying under the front axle in a pool of blood, sh*t and snot........."Sorry mate, I didn't see you either", when they walk out in front of you quite deliberately looking the other way!! >:( |
