we love it but we belive that our cossi wire loom is having a laugh not much RAIN just a day or so and we have a christmas tree dash board yeah yeah i know the wire loom loves a bit of wet or is it just christmas agian ye ha  ;D }{

Are the drain holes next to the fuseboxes clogged? Imho a good blast of pressurized air around the boxes from time to time seems to do the trick (combined with a healthy dose of silica gel inside  ;)).

All earth points clean and tight - including the 2 near the battery?

yeah earth straps all good but main wire loom insulation is cracked in places may tackle that bit soon possible dampness on those parts
