bit of a strange one this. used to work fine now wont work, fuse is okay dont think cogs stripped as it should at least make some sort of noise. my guess would be no power getting to motor any suggestions?

Hi mate, try checking the switch, could be a loose connected, could even be damp or corrosion due to where its located. what about the motor, if its dead it might not make any noise at all if its totally gone, it might be a start

i will check these things when the weather warms up a bit, as dont need it open at the moment. hmm perhaps i can talk simmo going out in the cold to look at it. ::)

I have the same problem with mine. Try pressing the switch and give a little helping hand, my seal leaked and the underside of the sunroof rusted up and seized. I think there is a page somewhere that explains about taking the sunroof out, cleaning and lubing the workings.

have you tried opening it on global unlock?
mine wont open on the switch, but will on global....

yep tried the global unlock windows opened but not roof, will try to get hold of a circuit tester tomorrow to see if power is getting to the switch.

V4-Max !!!!. Your 'beer account' is getting bigger by the post!!. ;) ;D Have you thought to check Fuse 28 in the main box. It also covers the rear windows so that would be a check in the absence of a circuit tester. Something else to bring to the next meet!!!. :D

yep fuses fine simmo, propably worth a beer if you can suss it out. by the way still have'nt cleaned the maff out,or put the spongy thing in ;) will be at badgers at end of the month.
