Title: Re: smoke/steam drivers side rear engine bay Post by scorpio_man on Apr 12th, 2007, 3:37pm hi there easy one would be a drip from the a/c drain tubes (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/acdrain.htm). are you using any water/oil/auto fluid? if no, then that's your best bet. hth |

Title: Re: smoke/steam drivers side rear engine bay Post by kyanther on Apr 12th, 2007, 6:16pm no there clear. tried to look closer and im a little nearer locating the prob. its above the sensor on the manifold somewhere buy where the EGR fits either there or buy the engine theres a pipe that i can only just see thats at the same hight as EGR fitting. (do you know what this pipe is?) could my prob be head gasket do you think? i cant see what hight gasket fits. i am right in saying that the EGR/manifold join cant smoke arnt i? the other update is since the engine has cooled i now have a more gentle but constant smoke. |
