Title: Re: one touch electric windows??? Post by pistonbroke on Apr 12th, 2007, 11:15pm L O Keith! Hants meet next Tuesday ;) Think it's press & hold down until you hear the "clunk" then the same with "up". That's about how I do it when it forgets. Dave |

Title: Re: one touch electric windows??? Post by jonnycab on Apr 13th, 2007, 1:51am With the window fully closed, press the down button once (don't hold it)...when the window's fully down, then put it back up fully, take your finger off the up button for a couple of seconds, then press & hold the up button for a couple of seconds......works for me ;) |

Title: Re: one touch electric windows??? Post by freddieboy on Apr 13th, 2007, 12:17pm Hi everyone. My drivers side window is playing up. When open and I briefly press to close, the window travels up about three quarters of the way and then fully down again. The only way I can get it closed is by holding down the close button. I used to be able to close the window by the "one touch "method. There doesnt seem to be anything mechanically wrong. Any ideas folks. Cheers. |

Title: Re: one touch electric windows??? Post by scorpio_man on Apr 13th, 2007, 12:53pm hi there i think one of two things... 1. are you using any of the rear windows at the same time? if so, then this is the default setting. 2. it thinks it's hitting something. spray some silicon spray into the glass runners. use silicon as it's less messy than wd40 on the glass. then rub some onto the 'furry' bits of the guides. hth |

Title: Re: one touch electric windows??? Post by Mummra on Apr 13th, 2007, 1:34pm Hi sorry to hijack somebody elses post but I have one quick question. Do both front windows support one touch closing? On my car the drivers window works OK but the passenger one goes down with one touch but not up. Just wondered if this was normal. Cheers Dave |

That's normal. All the windows should go down with one touch but only the driver's window will come up with one touch. Just imagine what fun you could have with passengers otherwise }{ Dave |
