at the rear of my rear coil pack on my 2.3 ultima there is a part where the plug clips in at the very rear.......

it looks to me thet somone has pushed down on it at some point and has cracked the black plastic.... i can see 2 very small bits of metal going from the plug to the main coil pack......

can this be the problem of no guts and hestiation when i put my foot down.?

need help asap so i can get to the scrappy if i need a new one..

Mark, it's a good chance the coilpack is your culprit mate. either a trip to the scrappie or a look on eBay.

i have one, dunno if they are the same though, its off a 2.9 24v

would a faulty coil pack have anything to do with the RUBBISH fuel econemy????

coil packs for the 24 v and the 2.3 are completely different.

lol. scrappy was closed.....

anyone got a good coil pack for 2.3?
