Hi,
I have a ½ inch dent on the inner rim of the wheel - Is it an M-O-T failure - providing it is on the back and balanced is it OK?
Any comments please.

but do you feel safe driving it like that ?

if the tyre isnt in danger of popping off the rim at that point and it doesnt leak air, then it should be ok

as it's balanced, then there shouldnt be a problem
