Title: part throttle misfire Post by scottystar on Apr 22nd, 2007, 10:42am hi can anyone tell me if this would cause a problem i.e a misfire at certain revs or all the time?? http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a137/scottystar/DSC00088-1.jpg it looks like the heat has made the plastic brittle and the multiplug connector has started to break away u can see the terminals inside. any ideas thanks scott |

Title: Re: part throttle misfire Post by jonnycab on Apr 22nd, 2007, 6:57pm I didn't say that the coil was definately defective, just that this kind of thing can cause a misfire :) If the connection isn't broken then you could try a dab of superglue to join the two surfaces back together & see if it improves matters ;) |
