Title: Emissions test Post by Chieftain on Apr 26th, 2007, 12:12pm Well the P reg Scorp Cossie you have all helped with answers to my questions had its MoT flew through all the mechanical bits, but failed on emissions :'(. Told that they were just a little high going back monday, examiner said that car might not have been hot enough but is there anything I can do to help. I am away till Sunday afternoon so nothing major like stripping the engine down ;D, feel good about the overall result. BTW new filters and oil changed last week. |

Title: Re: Emissions test Post by scorpio_man on Apr 26th, 2007, 12:15pm hi there stick some fuel injector cleaner in a 1/4 or lower tank. when you take it back to be tested, make sure you have the cats nice and warm. don't sit waiting. find out when they want it and give it a run around the block in sport mode. ;) hth |
