Title: Stalling when hot Post by Pete on May 25th, 2007, 8:20pm Hi It felt really hot here today, I parked my Scorp at the shops and when I went to start it, it started ok, but kept stalling, it kept doing this untill I had run for a couple of miles. It had done this last year when it was really hot, but went soon after, this time it seems more persistant. Any pointers? Cheers Peter |

Title: Re: Stalling when hot Post by Matt on May 25th, 2007, 8:53pm sounds like the fule relay might be sticking, they tent to burn up as they get a bit of load on them, i believe its the big yellow one at the rear of the aux (battery) fuse box |

Title: Re: Stalling when hot Post by Simmo on May 25th, 2007, 9:03pm According to the handbook the fuel relay is relay17 in the auxillary(battery side) fusebox. The details are HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook132.gif). Click on the page to enlarge it. |

Title: Re: Stalling when hot Post by TiberiuS on May 25th, 2007, 10:05pm If the new relay doesn't solve it, try a new FPR, gave me a starting prob on my 2.3. |
