Hello Every One
I am in need of a cylinder Head for my 2.5VM diesel the one which as four heads, because one of the studs holding the tappets as snapped off
there was a man selling one on e-bay about a week ago at that time I did not need one, as any one out there seen that advert and can put me in touch with him

I have every thing crossed in the hope that some-one can help

The diesel engine was also fitted in these if thats any help to you in sourcing a part

have you tried taking your head to an engineers they may be able to drill the old stud out and replace it.

[] Snapped studs aren't the end of the world, this sort of thing is a pain on older British cars. A well equipped workshop shouldn't find it a problem at all. Mate of mine had a snapped stud on an exhaust manifold, he went into overkill mode and had the broken stud electro discharge machined...cost him about £70 but no damage at all to the cast iron head :).

Definitely try to avoid disturbing the heads if possible; it's not advisable to remove one on it's own, and each has it's own gasket set to replace!
