Title: Steering wheel judders when breaking
Post by dogma on Jul 16th, 2007, 10:49pm
Hi all, in answers to another problem.  When i break the steering wheel ocilates or moves slightly side to side.  My first guess is a warped front disc. Any toher ideas  :-*

Does it get worse when breaking at a higher speed ?....If so, then yes, it does sound like warped discs  :)

A very common Scorpio fault.  Discs seem to wear out  so quickly  these days

I blame the  pads,    a lot  more friction efficient,    but  they sure eat up  your discs.

I'd also  prefer  solid discs  on the front,   vented  ones  must be more prone to warping  due to  the   honeycomed   construction.
