Title: Estate Rear Shock Absorbers Post by magnetono59 on Jul 18th, 2007, 12:38pm My estate failed the NCT same as MOT due to leaking rear shock absorber. I am quoted Euro 450 for one shock and I am advised to fit a pair. When labour is added the cost will be more than the car is worth. Is there a cheaper equivilant shock on the market. It is an executive estate so the self levelling facility is not provided as far as I know. I would appreciate any help or advice with this problem. |

Title: Re: Estate Rear Shock Absorbers Post by martin_rowe on Jul 19th, 2007, 1:05pm sorry, estates have to have the correct dampers only available as OE, they are BOGE units, may be available from a dealer, last time I had some they were cheeper from main agent. saloon dampers do not fit. |
