Hi all, my alarm has recently started going off on its own. Seems to be since i changed the remote batteries although i cant see the connection.It seems to have a mind of its own-as if its too sensitive, and will run the battery on the car flat. Any ideas. john.n ???

Hi there,
A common fault is the bonnet switch. Check also all the doors switches. You could take them out (1 screw) and give them a bath of contact cleaner.

[] mine gave me the same problem when i first brought my car.A few members told me about the bonnet switch problem all i done was give it a spray of wd40 pressed the switch in a few times and fingers crossed it never gave me a problem since.

Thanks for the replys guys, i should have remembered the bonnet switch problem. I will try that tomorrow as its pissi-- sorry raining at the moment. Will post the reult. john.n :P
